The Beall Woods State Park is state recreational facility located in Mount Carmel Illinois. Is is operated by the state through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and is part of the Illinois State Parks system.

Beall Woods State Park has one of the few remaining tracts of virgin timber east in the region. Park visitors can see some trees that rise up to 120 feet up and are about three feet in diameter. The history of this virgin forest and its development into a park is well documented and may be accessed through the park visitors center.

Beall Woods had been under the ownership of the Beall family for hundreds of years and operated as a farm. However, over half of the land was never cleared for and as such remained in its virgin state.
