Cave-in-Rock State Park is state historical education and recreational area located in Cave-in-Rock, Illinois. It is owned and operated by the state through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.

The Cave-in-Rock State Park is centered on a historic 55 foot wide limestone cavern located on the shores of the Ohio River. This historic cavern, brought into existence by centuries of direct water action and erosion, has been used by travellers, pioneers, settlers, and even murderous gangs since it was discovered by early local explorers.

Cave-in-Rock State Park offers many outdoor recreational opportunities as well as several amenities for campers and other overnight park visitors. The park is popular for hiking, wildlife viewing, camping, boating, fishing, and nature walking.
