Coffeen Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area is a state managed public recreational area located in Coffeen, Illinois. The land area is owned by the Ameren Energy Generating Company and the park is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The park is part of the Illinois State Parks system.

Coffeen lake is water reservoir created by a 75 foot earthen dam built for the Coffeen Power Station. The reservoir is used as a cooling pond for the power station. Coffeen Lake offers plenty of fishing opportunites and catches include twenty-two species of fish. The most popular catches in the lake include largemouth bass, channel catfish, and striped bass. Boating in the lake is also allowed and a loading ramp is available for park visitors.

Other popular activities in the park include picnicking, camping, and hunting.
