Delabar State Park is an 89 acre recreational park located on the shores of the Mississippi River 1 ? miles north of Oquawka. It is part of the Illinois State Parks system and is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
The park offers many outdoor recreational opportunities and is popular among locals and tourists for accessibility and ease of use. There are picnic areas at both north and south ends of the park as well as near its center. These picnic areas are equipped with picnic tables and camp stoves and even a shelter in the central picnic area.
Two marked nature trails are also available in the park that provide nearly two miles of gentle hiking along a scenic route.
