The Great America and Hurricane Harbor are theme parks in Illinois, Chicago which offer variety of rides and attraction for kids and even adults. People from different neighboring cities can easily board to the theme park since it is located within the boundary area of Chicago and Milwaukee. It is operated by Six Flags which is also operating other theme parks in California, New Jersey, Texas, Mexico, and even in Canada.

The Great America offers rides in three categories: the mild rides, moderate rides, and the intense rides. Under the mild category are rides like Buccaneer Battle, Columbia Carousel, and Sky trek Tower. The moderate rides are consist of swing rides like Big Easy Balloon, Revolution, Whirligig, and some spinning rides like Condor and Fiddlers Fing. The catgeory of intense rides includes thrilling adventure such as Superman: Ultimate Fight and The Dark Knight Roller Coaster. But the most breathtaking adventure in the park is the Iron Wolf. It is another looping ride which declared as the fastest, steepest, and tallest roller coaster in the world. The admissions in these kinds of rides are restricted according to the age of the riders. There are also wooden-made coasters such as the American Eagle and the Demon.

Meanwhile the Hurricane Harbor has water fun rides like Castaway Creek, Skull Island Body Slides, Wahoo Racer, Hurricane Mountain and many more. It also features activity and play area for children like Buccaneer Bay and Skull Island.

During the summer season, all entrances of the Great America and Hurricane Harbor are flocked with park goers. Months of June to August are the peak season where the rides and attractions are full packed.
