The John Hancock Center stands out above the rest with its hovering height of 1125 feet. It was first completed way back in 1970 with the design of the reliable and popular SOM firm of architects. It was led by architect B. Graham and constructor F. Kahn. It is a giant steel structure that is cross braced and it has a face made up of aluminum that is oxidized.

The building also has a reflective outer surface and it houses an observatory right at the 94th floor of the center. Each level offers amazing and breathtaking views. There are also two telecom aerials that can be found right on its roof. It has shops, apartments, offices and other features like the sculptures and the waterfalls.
