The Museum of Contemporary Art is a permanent contemporary museum located in Chicago?s Cook County. The museum was founded in 1967 and has been considered as one of the biggest contemporary art venues within the United States.

Aside from holding numerous visual art pieces from Post-World War II America, Chicago?s Museum of Contemporary Art also had the rare opportunity to host the very first U.S. exhibition of renowned artist Frida Kahlo. Other notable and unforgettable exhibit that has been held in the Museum of Contemporary Art includes the first solo museum exhibition of Jeff Koons.

Tourists and local visitors can go and visit the Museum of Contemporary Arts from Tuesdays through Sundays except for Holidays. Residents of Illinois can get into the museum free of charge while other visitors are expected to pay $12 general admission for adults and $7 for students.
