The Spring Lake Fish and Wildlife Area is a state park and wildlife preserve in Manito, Illinois. It is situated on the east side of the Illinois River and 25 miles southwest of Peoria.
Established in 1950, the Spring Lake Fish and Wildlife Area centers on the Spring Lake, which is an 8.5 mile-long alluvial lake and also lies parallel to the Illinois River. Through the alteration that the lake received with the building of dikes in the early 1900s and 1950s, the current one became a mix of two lakes, the original Spring Lake and the smaller Saiwell Lake.
Visitors of the Spring Lake Fish and Wildlife Area can enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, camping and hunting at the park.
