The Starved Rock State Park is a state park and recreation area in Oglesby, Illinois. It is best known for the several canyons contained within its 2360 acres of area.

Located along the south bank of the Illinois River, the Starved Rock State Park is popular among folks who are after some outdoor adventure. Visitors can enjoy hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating, birding, and sightseeing at the site. There are also lodging facilities at the site: a refurbished log lodge built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. It has 72 luxury hotel rooms and 22 cabin rooms as well as a restaurant.

The Starved Rock State Park is named after the Native American legend of injustice and retribution. The area has been a tourist destination since the early 1900s.
