The Union County State Fish and Wildlife Area is a state park and wildlife area in Jonesboro, Illinois. It covers 6202 acres of area.

Acquired in the late 1940s and developed in 1964 to serve as a refuge to a substantial wintering goose population, the Union County State Fish and Wildlife Area is mostly a home and sanctuary to about half a million geese every winter. The site is actually designed to provide a suitable habitat for the waterfowl that decide to stop by. It also has a timber forest and a good deal of undeveloped area, while the others are used for farming hard grain and green forage crops.

Visitors of the Union County State Fish and Wildlife Area can enjoy fishing, picnicking, and wildlife viewing and photography at the site. Hunting is only allowed on specific areas so as not to disturb the waterfowl population at the site.
