The Woodford State Fish and Wildlife Area is a state park and wildlife management area in Low Point, Illinois. It is located along the east side of the Illinois River.

The Woodford State Fish and Wildlife Area is known for its wondrous natural features. Visitors can find several artesian wells at the site, making it an excellent winter fishing area. Out of its 2900 acres, more than 2400 are made of water, which also makes it a well known stopover by migrating waterfowl.

If you?re planning to pay a visit to Woodford State Fish and Wildlife Area, you can enjoy their facilities for boating, fishing, picnicking, camping, hiking, and cross country skiing. Hunting is allowed, but only for squirrels and on specifically designated areas.
