The Corydon Capitol State Historic Site tells the complete story behind the history of the Indiana state. It features very interesting and highly informative museum displays. Corydon is considered to be the very first state capitol of the state and its building?s creation can be traced back from 1814 to 1816. Its visitors stumble upon its wide grounds that are ideal for picnic gatherings right in front of the restored building made out of pure limestone.

This historical museum welcomes numerous group tours from any university or school that is composed of students hungry for historical learning about their own state. The members of the Indiana State museum are the only ones who are granted free admission to the building. This historic site is also considered as a center for a lot of science and culture topics.
