The Hannah House in Indianapolis is once the home of Alexander Hannah, a former sheriff, County Court clerk, post master, farmer, and a civic leader in the community. He was quite the prominent figure back in his days. He was also a well known abolitionist. The house was built in 1858. It was believed to be a part of the Underground Railway system.

Aside from being a historic spot, the Hannah House is also widely visited for its haunted tales. Even the group that manages the landmark offers stories and events related to the theories that the place is still the home of the spirits that died in the building.

All of these make Hannah House a thrilling and exciting spot for folks visiting Indianapolis.
