You can find the Indianapolis Museum of Art in a spacious park in the north part of the city center. The museum has four divisions. The first division is the Kranet Pavilion. It exhibits the American art from the first civilizations to the modern times and Asian art as well. The second pavilion is the Hulman Pavilion. It has some paintings from Baroque to neo impressionism. The third pavilion is the Clowes Pavilion which offers Renaissance Art and lastly, the Lilly Pavilion which shows the British and American furniture.
The Museum is open from Tuesdays to Sundays. The schedule varies depending on the day. The museum is open at 11 am to 5 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday. While it is open from 11 am to 9 pm every Thursday and Friday and 12 pm to 5 pm every Sunday. The museum is closed during holidays. Admission is free.
