Visitors will love the Indianapolis Zoo. It was opened to public in 1964 and has a very important role in research worldwide. Aside from that, the zoo also promotes conservation and protecting animal rights. It has different species of plants and animals. It is known worldwide because of it’s first accomplishment in the world’s first artificial insemination of an African elephant. The zoo is situated in White River State Park.
The zoo is available everyday from 9 am to 5 pm. However, the schedule varies depending on the month and on the day. For instance, it opens from 12 pm to 9 pm in the month of December. The admission fee for adult is $14.50, $9 for Senior and for students, and children are free.
