The National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium consists of two centers: The National River Center and the Mississippi River Center. At the National River Center, guests would be greeted with indoor waterfalls before proceeding to galleries set in canals and river caves. They?re also exhibits featuring the different cultures, histories, and artefacts related to the country?s watery regions.

The National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium also features RiverWorks - where children may participate in hands-on aquatic activities ? and Rivers to the Sea, where guests may check out salt-water aquariums containing rays, sharks, and other fishes endemic to Mississippi River.

At the Mississippi River Museum, guests may also enjoy viewing educational and entertaining presentations in the 3D and 4D Immersion Theaters.

Other interesting attractions in the center include the aquarium-filled William Woodward Discovery Center, National Rivers Hall of fame, Carver Wet Lab, Riverboat Museum, and Woodward Wetland.
