Salisbury House & Gardens is a 42-room mansion that displays the revolutionary fashion of the 1920?s, the quaint elegance of England in 16th century, and the contemporary styles of the modern era.

Salisbury House was built by Carl Weeks, one of the world?s first cosmetic magnates, and his wife Edith. After five years, the house was completed in 1928 although the couple, together with their four sons, had already moved in the mansion in 1926.

In 1999, the Salisbury House Foundation bought the property and had worked hard in restoring the mansion to its former glory. Salisbury House & Garden has since then been open to the public, displaying not only architectural works of art but also the Weeks? comprehensive collection of rare artifacts from all over the world, including an amazing collection of books and other documents, antiques, Native American crafts and more.
