You can enjoy your stay in Springbrook State Park in Iowa in several ways. Located about 5 miles west of Yale city, this 17-acre park is a sprawling green landscape of tree-filled rolling hills and spring-fed lake. Visitors can follow the 12-mile hiking trails located throughout Springbrook. There is also a 4-mile snowmobiling trail that people can take during winter.

For water lovers, the park offers several water-based activities such as swimming, canoeing, boating and fishing in the Middle Raccoon River and the manmade lake on Kings Creek. Three fishing jetties are available for rent in the 17-acre spring-fed lake. Visitors can also engage in seasonal hunting. Hunted games and fishes can be enjoyed inside the two picnic shelters and 120 campsites located inside the park. Nature lovers can likewise observe or take photos of the park?s local wildlife. Other outdoor activities include biking, trekking and birdwatching.
