Spanning at least 13 acres of area, the Beach Ottumwa boasts of having a full-size water park area with just a fraction of the admission price that other venues of the sort charge. It is the home for local swim athletes, like the Ottumwa High School Swim Team and the Ottumwa Swim Club’s Barracuda Swim Team.

The Beach Ottumwa features a series of attraction on the site. They have a wave pool, children’s play area, a twister slide, a speed slide, and a sand volleyball pitch. They also have an indoor pool with matching 100 foot slide.

Like most other water parks, the Beach Ottumwa is open from the Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Swimming lessons are also offered by management.
