The Farm House, also known as the Knapp-Wilson House, is a National Historic Landmark in Ames, Iowa. It was built in 1861 and mostly noted for being once the home to the distinguished agriculturist and teacher, Seaman Knapp, and the former Secretary of Agriculture, James Wilson.

The Farm House was actually not a private residence. It was funded by the state of Iowa to the State Agricultural College and Model Farm. Despite its modest façade, the house is actually composed of fourteen rooms. It is also the very first building on the Iowa State University campus.

Declared as a National Historic Landmark in 1964, The Farm House is now mostly as the Farm House Museum opened on 1976 after thorough restorations and renovations.
