The National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library is the very first cultural and artistic establishment in the US that interprets the history of the Slovak and Czech. Known also as the NCSML, it had its formal accreditation last November 2008 given by the American Association of Museums.
This Czech and Slovak Museum is home to the Homelands exhibit which tells the story of the Slovak and Czech people dating back from the olden days of the Slavic tribes. They wandered through Central Europe and to the Velvet Divorce by 1993.
This national museum features a total of 250 items that include ancient works of art such as a 1935 motorcycle made uniquely by the Czechs along with the original costumes of their folk?s men and women.
