The Witter Gallery is an educational and exhibit gallery located in Storm Lake, Iowa. It is a center that cultivates creativity, preservation and arts appreciation. It is named after Ella Mae Witter she was a premier painter who studied with other famous painters in Germany. She was also a teacher at Storm Lake High School. Ella Witter won several awards for her paintings as well as her contribution to arts.

The museum and gallery was Ms. Witters brainchild as she desired to add a wing to the public library where arts appreciation can be applied. Moreover, she also wanted to share some of her award winning paintings. Her death however in 1972 did not allow her to enjoy the completion of her dream as the gallery was dedicated. The gallery became the permanent home for many of her paintings. Moreover in the years to come the Witter Gallery also became home to many revolving exhibitions, lectures, workshops, as well as many other activities. It is today one of the many attractions in the city of Storm Lake.
