The Atchison County Historical Society can be found in the Santa Fe Depot that has long been restored. It has a wide display that features exhibits from the times of the Indian settlement during the days of the Atchison. It serves as a steamship and a railroad center and right into the 20th century. You can also get to enjoy their virtual museum when you visit their site online.

You can view their calendar so that you would be constantly updated with the events held currently in the museum. It also invites everyone to be a member of the museum by simply being a volunteer or a humble sponsor who would constantly send in donations for the maintenance needs of the said attraction.
