For people wishing to have a relaxing day at the movies, the historic Augusta Theater in Kansas is definitely the place where you would want to head to. Establikshed by couple Dave and Aline Bisagno during the 1930’s has since become one of the most popular theaters for the people living in the area.

Today, the theater still stands as an example of the Art Deco style of architecture that was popular during its early years. And the Augusta theater is still very much active, regularly presenting movie listings that Range from current blockbusters to art classics. It also regularly hosts different events.

The theater is also currently the home of the Augusta Arts Council, which opens its galleries to the public on a regular basis
