The Combat Air Museum was organized as a wing of David Tallichet?s Yesterday?s Air Force, chartered in April 1977. Their interest for establishing it was brought about by the reduction of WWII operable aircraft.

Today, it contains an extensive collection of military and aviation oriented memorabilia from the First World War all the way to the space shuttle program. Outside its hangers, visitors can a cannon and missiles. It also boasts of military vehicles including a command car, a jeep, and an M-114 armored personnel carrier.

In the exhibit, different types and sizes of aircraft engines are featured together with flight training simulators of different degrees and complexity. A re-created German P.O.W. barracks was made by 2 members based on their first-hand experiences as well. Other things to look forward to are the collections of artifacts and dioramas; and the gallery featuring military aviation art.
