The Exploration Center is a one-of-a-kind twenty-acre museum. One of its top attractions includes the Boeing Dome Theatre & Planetarium, which is the largest dome space planetarium in Kansas.

Also found in the Exploration Centre are four types of hands-on exhibits. One exhibit features a three-story castle and medieval living. The other three focus on the history and evolution of flight, the state of Kansas, and an exhibit which encourages children to explore their imagination.

The Exploration Centre also boasts of outdoor attractions, including an adventure play yard, a picnic grove, and an 18-hole mini-golf course. Visitors may also enjoy a pleasant meal and scenic views of the Arkansas River at the museum’s WaterWay Cafe & Terrace. The museum also has a 1,900 square foot shopping facility for visitors who wish to purchase educational kits, souvenirs, and other merchandise.
