The Kanopolis State Park is a state park and recreation area in Marquette, Kansas. It is best known for its natural setting and beautiful scenery.

Established in 1948, the Kanopolis State Park is the first state park to draw visitors to the eastern portion of Ellsworth County. What with its reservoir, scenic sandstone canyons, desert plants, and a prairie dog town, people are really bound to check it out. Add to this the wide array of recreational opportunities available at the site and most are already scheduling their trips.

Visitors of the Kanopolis State Park can enjoy hiking within its 25 miles of trails, as well as camping, fishing, and even hunting among other things. It is also noted that a day is not enough to explore everything within this beautiful park.
