The Kansas Aviation Museum is housed in the former Wichita Air Terminal Building. This building is a monument to the passionate early aviators and to the public willingness to participate in commercial aviation.
The Museum boasts of a world-class collection that includes historic, significant, and rare aircraft and aircraft engines. It has a huge archive containing thousands of records, books, schematics, photos, and more. Its collection also includes a wide range of additional aviation memorabilia. One of its features is the Kansas Aviation Hall of Fame, which gives honor to and displays the line-up of aviation heavyweights of all areas, by state, national, and global.
Visitors to the Museum will be enlightened on aviation as well as the role of Wichita in aviation history.
