The Kaw River State Park is a state park and recreation area in Topeka, Kansas. It is the only urban type unit in the entire Kansas state parks system. It is also the newest unit in the system being only opened to the public in 2010.

Despite being small in size at 76 acres, the Kaw River State Park is known for its hiking trails. The trails were originally known by locals as the Menninger trails, owned by a mental health hospital that once owned the property before it was donated to the state in 2005. The trails were developed by the original owners, although the state also tweaked it a little bit to improve its state and shape.

The Kaw River State Park is also noted for providing the only Kaw River access point near Topeka.
