The Old Cowtown Museum is a living history that is composed of more than forty buildings that were reproduced which dated way back between the years of 1865 and 1880. The site measures about 25 acres and brings a time traveling experience to each of its visitors since its features would let you relive the days when some parts of Kansas were considered as cattle towns.

It also has a working farm that measures five acres complete with all the needed farm animals. It also serves as a regular venue for events which are called as Women of the West, Old Fashioned Christmas and Age of the Gunfighters. Their sights and sounds would give you a sample of the activities that commonly happen in the Midwest cattle towns.
