The Santa Fe Trail Remains is a two mile stretch of preserved land that used to be a part of the 1200 mile Santa Fe Trail. It is the longest continuously and clearly defined remaining area of the said historic trail in the state of Kansas.

This site is located in Dodge City, Kansas. It is a declared National Historic Landmark. Aside from this site, there are also a couple of other attractions related to the trail in the area. There?s Fort Dodge, the Boot Hill Museum, and Fort Atkinson for starters.

The site of the Santa Fe Trail Remains can be quite a challenge, though. Reports from the NHL say that they do need to have some sort of a billboard on the highway so people could find it easier.
