Completed in 1868, the Brennan House is a beautifully preserved Victorian home that was recognized as a Louisville Landmark and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the 1970?s. It showcases the best of Victorian interior as well as the most beautiful elements of Italianate architecture with its exterior. Exquisite furnishing inside the house includes a signed Tiffany lamp and lavish etched-glass and crystal chandeliers as well as hand-carved furniture for the bedroom and dining room. Also found at the historic home and gardens would be an all-authentic 1912 doctor?s office. Inside the office, viewers may be able to glimpse an extensive collection of early 20th century medical instruments, all of which were donated by Dr. Harry Stambaugh together with local doctors.
