The Constitution Square State Historic Site is a state park and historic site in Danville, Kentucky. It is famous for being the site of several events that made huge impact on the history of Kentucky.

Covering 3 acres, the Constitution Square State Historic Site is best known for being where the Constitution of Kentucky was created and signed. All of the ten constitutional conventions that lead to Kentucky?s statehood were held at this very site.

Noted for being where the former Kentucky County of Virginia became the fifteenth state in the Union, the Constitution Square State Historic Site features a historic courthouse, a two room schoolhouse, Grayson?s Tavern, a Presbyterian meeting house, the first post office located west of the Allegheny Mountains, and several other historic structures.
