The General Burnside State Park is a state park and recreation area in Burnside, Kentucky. It is also known as the General Burnside Island State Park. It is situated in the middle of Lake Cumberland.

Noted for being the only island park in all of Kentucky, the General Burnside State Park was named after the Union general, Ambrose E. Burnside. He and his men occupied the area where the park now stands during the Civil War.

The General Burnside State Park is enjoyed by its visitors through camping, fishing, boating, RVing, picnicking, and golfing at its 18-hole regulation golf course that is equipped with a pro shop and various other amenities. The golf course is also considered as the best in the entire Lake Cumberland area.
