The Great American Dollhouse Museum is a history museum in miniature that features miniature villages and communities including business districts, factories, residential neighborhoods, as well as a complete Shaker Village. It also features a fantasy forest that is complete with a walk-in cave where trolls and dragons reside.

The Museum?s building is constructed by the Works Progress Administration. It is now a renovated 1939 WPA National Guard armory with 20 ceilings, antique church lights, hardwood purlins, and bowstring trusses. Overall, its environment and ambiance is charming and engaging.

There are about 200 miniature houses and room boxes within the museum. There are also thousands of miniatures and multitudes of custom made people populating these villages.

The Museum is open from 11a.m. to 1p.m. on from Tuesday to Saturday.
