The Kentucky Folk Art Center has a wide collection of folk art items that amount to 900 pieces, all displayed and featured. It also serves as home to the Edgar Tolson Folk Art Library. Majority of the works showcased are made from local artists and students coming from the Morehead State University. This folk art center is one of the very special places of the university.

Situated right in the heart of the Union Grocery, this center offers beyond the usual museum experience. With just the first view of the art center, you would surely be attracted to its whimsical features and you would surely enjoy viewing all the works of the artists featured inside. It serves as educational and cultural service of the university to the community.
