The Kentucky Reptile Zoo is perfect for those who have the unique passion for snakes, iguanas and other interesting reptiles. It is famous for its collection of poisonous snakes which include spitting cobras, mambas, vipers, several rattlesnakes and many more. It also houses other non-poisonous or non-threatening reptiles like turtles along with some pythons, alligators and even a few anacondas.
The zoo that also acts like some unique kind of museum also is welcoming to many educational tours and school groups. Numerous scientists also use the zoo to serve as resource for their study of various reptile venoms and their behaviors.
