The Lake Cumberland State Resort Park is a state resort park and recreation area in Jamestown, Kentucky. It is deemed as one of the best fishing and boating destinations in the entire Eastern United States.

Created in 1951 through the granting of 2791 acres of land to the Commonwealth of Kentucky by the Secretary of the Army, the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park showcases the immense beauty of the Cumberland River area. It features Lake Cumberland’s more than sixty thousand surface acres and 1225 miles of shoreline.

Some of the top activities enjoyed at the Lake Cumberland State Resort Park include birding, boating, camping, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and swimming. The site is also home to the Lure Lodge, equipped with a Game Room, playgrounds, shuffleboard courts, tennis courts, and courses for miniature and disc golfing.
