The Owensboro Museum of Fine Art houses a permanent collection of American, European, and Asian fine and decorative arts with items dating back from the century up to the present. Through its collection, it is able to achieve the expansion and enhancement of the cultural environment of the region. Throughout the year, the Museum also offers traveling exhibitions, visual and performing arts, interpretive events as well as educational programs that are suitable for both young and adult visitors.

The Museum houses the ARTLAND, an interactive art studio made especially for kids 4 to 10 years old. The studio helps children develop and stimulate their imagination while creating works of art. In here, visitors will also find an art laboratory hat is fully equipped with supplies and materials used for making works of art. To enhance the creative experience of the kids, painted murals that depict Micki Angelo and Donna Tello, the muses of the studio, are displayed. There is also a children?s theater where theatrical productions can be participated in by the young visitors.
