The Pine Mountain Trail State Park is a state park and recreation area in Whitesburg, Kentucky. It is a unique unit of the Kentucky state parks system for being a linear state park.

Running for 120 miles, the Pine Mountain Trail State Park is still under development. It is designed to run from Breaks Interstate Park to the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. It will snake through a route that will go through several natural areas like the Blanton Forest, Bad Branch State Nature Preserve, and Kingdom Come State Park. It will also cover a 1000 acres band along the Pine Mountain.

The Pine Mountain Trail State Park, also simply known as the Pine Mountain Trail, is designed to showcase the wild highlands, as well as the natural and cultural heritage of Appalachia.
