The Waveland State Historic Site is a mansion that is set in the design of the Greek Revival created in 1847. It has an icehouse, servant?s quarters and a smokehouse that were restored. What is mostly highlighted in the site is how life on the plantation was during the 19th century days. The entire home that was turned into a museum was built by Joseph Bryan who is the grand nephew of Daniel Boone.

With this, majority of the tours made for the site would tell about the story of the life of Bryan?s family along with the day to day living in the famous plantation in Kentucky. It caters a tour guide that would assist you through the hidden treasures of the place?s history.
