Packed with 50 live exhibits and a series of other attractions, the Audubon Insectarium is an award winning entomology museum in New Orleans. It covers a 23,000 square feet facility and offers guest a widely informational and educational experience.

The Audubon Insectarium features an underground gallery which gives guests an experience from a bug?s point of view. There?s also a butterfly garden where guests can interact with the creatures. Termite, metamorphosis, and Louisiana swamp galleries are also on display.

For a complete experience, guests can also head to the Bug Appetit, or the Audubon Insectarium?s caf?. Meals here are prepared by chefs who experiment and incorporate different insects in their dishes. Events are also held regularly, so guests can also time their visits to the festivities.
