While the state of Louisiana is best known for its Cajun and Southern heritage as well as having one of the most magnificent examples of antebellum homes, the Blue Bayou Water Park is making sure that the state would also be known as having one of the best water parks in the country.

The water park, among other things, is the place to go if you want to ride the largest dark behemoth bowl in the world (Voodoo), the biggest tornado slide (Azuka), the biggest water racer (Racers), the most enormous sled slide (Flying Pirogues) and the biggest in-line water slide (Conja). But that?s not all. There?s also the Mad Moccasin, which is by far the most thrilling and challenging ride in the park. Kids, however, won?t miss out on any fun as they have their own set of attractions including the interactive Pirate?s Cove and the Hurricane Bay wave pool.

Purchasing a ticket for the Blue Bayou Water Park will also entitle you to free admission to the Dixie Landin? Theme Park, which has a little less than thirty rides to offer.
