The Eunice Museum is found right in the area of where the town started. It was between the years of 1893 and 1894 that CC Duson sold the land sites and named the entire town after his wife?s name which is Eunice. All the exhibits in the museum feature a lot of items that depict the culture of the American Indian and the Cajun history.

The museum is also included in the list of the National Register of Historic Places. The rest of the collections of the museum also include ancient toys, several railroad items, pioneer tools for farming, the Indian life in LA, how the newspaper started, video tapes and a lot more.
