The Imperial Calcasieu Museum or also known as the ICM hosts a lot of exhibits that happen on a yearly basis along with other artistic events. They feature featured and regular exhibits with the Historic Exhibit displaying the lifestyles during the early nineteen hundreds in the area. In the museum is where you can also find the Gibson Library which features the wide and complete collection of prints made by John James.

Within the museum is where you can also find the Sallier Oak and Lynda Benglis Sculpture Garden. This is the part of the museum where you can discover a 400 year old oak tree still alive and standing. The museum is also recently celebrating its 47th year of their being a great resource of culture, education and history.
