The South Toledo Bend State Park is a state park and recreation area in Anacoco, Louisiana. It is one of the most recent additions to the Louisiana state parks system being only opened to the public in November 2004, despite the state having the tract of land since 1979.

Covering about a thousand acres, the South Toledo Bend State Park is quite well known among recreation enthusiasts. Featuring the largest manmade body of water in the south, the Toledo Bend Reservoir, the site really has a lot to offer. With the reservoir being as massive as 185,000 acres, a good amount of space is surely available when it comes to water recreation. Here, folks can enjoy fishing and boating for starters, as well as other water based activities.
