The Crescent Beach State Park is a state park and recreation area in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It is a well known summer destination, located roughly eight miles out of Portland.

Named after its shape, the Crescent Beach State Park boasts of a stunning natural setting. It is most famous for its namesake, a sandy oceanfront beach that runs a mile long and is crescent shaped. Folks troop to the site to stroll, sunbathe, and enjoy the water. The light surf makes it ideal for swimming and boating as the current?s not too strong and dangerous.
