The Seashore Trolley Museum is the biggest electric railway museum, not only in the US, but also in the world. It features the history of the US mass transport system, with representation of every major city that used such a system.
Featuring 250 transit vehicles, the Seashore Trolley Museum started in 1939 as the initial owners’ way to save the history of their favorite trolley, the Biddeford& Saco Railroad Company’s car No. 31. The units come from all over the world and some of them are still fully operational and are put on exhibit during special events held by the museum.
Today, guests of the Seashore Trolley Museum can really find their visit a blast with the great number of things to do and see on site.
