The Aberdeen Room Archives and Museum Inc, was built in order to preserve and exhibit the history and heritage of the Aberdeen, Maryland. It was incorporated in 1991 as a non-profit organization, which many citizens of Aberdeen takes pride in. It is affiliated with the Harford County Historical Society as well as Aberdeen Appearance and Preservation Committee.

This important museum was established by Charlotte Garretson in 1987, and started by the help of many volunteers and local citizens of Aberdeen. Some of the first displays were from the office of the late Senator J. Wilmer Cronin. More families added their own collection of private art and other important items that contributed to the history of Aberdeen. The museum is open every Tuesday and Thursdays from 10am to 1pm.
