The Contemporary Museum of Baltimore isn’t just any kind of art museum. In fact, the organization describes itself as a laboratory that uses contemporary arts as catalyst or a way to promote “progressive social change” not just in the city but all throughout the globe as well.
Museum art exhibits you’ll be able to view include Project 20 – an exhibit that was launched in January 2010 and showcases the twenty years that the Contemporary Museum has been in business – and New View, which showcases different types of works every month.
If you live or are staying in the area, be sure to take advantage of the museum’s Charm City Circulator or CCC, which consists of 21 shuttles offering free services and travels three types of routes in the city.
